Workshop at HBM2012 in Beijing on "Attention and expectation in human visual perception"

The symposium proposal on "Attention and expectation in human visual perception" has been accepted as a morning workshop at Human Brain Mapping (HBM) 2012 in Beijing, China.
The symposium will be chaired by Floris de Lange.
Speakers at the symposium are:


* Marius Peelen, Center for Mind/Brain Sciences, Rovoreto, Italy: The neural basis of attentional selection from natural scenes
* Lars Muckli, Glasgow University, UK: Context feeding back to V1
* Chris Summerfield, Oxford University, UK: Dissociable influences of prior probability and relevance on visual detection sensitivity
* Floris de Lange, Donders Institute, Netherlands: Expectation sharpens representations in early sensory cortex
