Matthias Ekman

Matthias Ekman is a post-doctoral fellow. He is currently working on 'preplay' in the visual cortex, using population receptive field (pRF) methods and fMRI scanning at high temporal resolution, to uncover cortical activity waves during anticipated dynamic perceptual events.
For his PhD thesis, Matthias worked on anticipatory network reconfigurations during working memory and attention, using graph theoretical measures.
Matthias is co-funded by a VIDI grant awarded to Christian Fiebach.
